About this album
Intervened memory is a series of 10 pieces that make the album of the same name. Each piece is based on a different image from Cristian Pineda's photographic series Yo soy mi casa (I am my house). It grew out of more than three years of close collaboration between composers Jimena Maldonado and Juan Luis Montoro and viola da gamba player Israel Castillo. The result is a process of intervention, dialogue, interpretation and improvisation, all based on Pineda's work.
